# Dos objetivos da vistoria de identificação veicular

A vistoria de identificação veicular é um procedimento obrigatório para a emissão do Certificado de Registro de Veículo - CRV, possuindo como objetivo avaliar a conformidade do veículo nos seguintes aspectos:

1. A autenticidade da identificação do veículo; 
2. A autenticidade da identificação da sua documentação;
3. A legitimidade da propriedade;
4. Se os veículos dispõem dos equipamentos obrigatórios, e se estes estão funcionais; 
5. Se as características originais do veículo foram preservadas e/ou seus agregados foram modificados e, caso constatada alguma alteração, se está regulamentada pela legislação vigente, se foi autorizada, regularizada e se está presente no prontuário do veículo, na repartição de trânsito competente, a ele vinculada.

Nos termos da Resolução CONTRAN nº 941/2022 e legislação Estadual vigente, as vistorias de identificação veicular realizadas pelas ECV devem ser feitas exclusivamente na modalidade eletrônica, no âmbito do Sistema de Vistoria vinculado ao Estado, por empresa credenciada.
